Qrossroads was initiated by the members of the European Consortium for Accreditation in higher education (ECA).

In their cooperation with the ENIC-NARICs, recognition bodies) of their countries, they agreed to implement a transparent information tool to present the results of their accreditation procedures: accredited programmes and/or institutions.
