Haute école

Haute école is a higher education institution, typically in French-speaking countries, that provide programmes with a more professional orientation or with a focus on a certain profession in the labour market.

Generally, higher education in the European Higher Education Area is education part of or leading to a degree awarded by a programme linked to the first (e.g. Bachelor), second (e.g. Master) or third (e.g. Doctorate) cycle of the Framework for Qualifications of the European Higher Education Area.
